This boutique New York law firm has lawyers that serve institutional and industrial clients in areas such as e-commerce, intellectual property, manufacturing, utilities, labor and employment, environmental, real estate development, financial services and entrepreneurial business. Attorneys work together in a team oriented environment and receive relatively competitive salaries.
Commercial And Real Estate Litigation And Patent Prosecution Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for: Creates and utilizes paper and electronic document collection, review and production systems and tracking documents with minimal supervision; Coordinates automated litigation support projects through utilization of technology, including database management software (Relativity or similar) and Case Notebook; and Demonstrates ability to manage utilization of litigation databases by case team. Must have Bachelor's degree. Must have working knowledge of real estate and title records and filings, and federal and state court practice, and will be expected to assist attorneys in all phases of the litigation process including motion practice, discovery, trial preparation, file analysis, and research. Experience with e-discovery software required. Working knowledge of practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office preferred. Experience with commercial docketing software, such as CPI or CPA, and familiarity with foreign filing practice in coordination with foreign patent agents are preferred.
