Makes appointments and travel arrangements; processes expense reimbursements; and maintains calendar and deadline reminder system. Communicates with administrative support by apprising of deadlines, attorney travel plans, etc. Ensures attorney timesheets are completed. Ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience as a legal secretary in litigation; working knowledge and experience in e-filing in both state and federal court systems; strong organizational skills with an exceptional attention to detail; strong communications, interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to interact effectively and professionally with management, staff and external entities including clients of the firm. This individual must have a minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute, be proficient in and have knowledge of relevant software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook); must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality; and consistently produce high-quality work product.
