Transcribing dictation, taking notes for client meetings, and typing handwritten documents. Managing and organizing of documents, including scanning and saving to case-management software and electronic file. Scanning, copying, saving, uploading documents to client portal, preparing documents for mailing, and drafting letters to clients to obtain information or provide updates. Performing other duties as requested or assigned. Must have superior attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills, an ability to multitask, managing various deadlines and the department calendar, and to see tasks through completion amid frequent interruptions. Must maintain positive contact with clients, attorneys, and staff and observe confidentiality of client matters. Must also be comfortable going to court to file petitions and pleadings, interacting with Registry of Probate clerks and courtroom staff, and responding to emergencies.
