Retrieve, review, and analyze all incoming mail received through the physical mail or the through Court s Electronic Case Filing system. Make Attorneys and/or clients aware of any situation(s) that may require attention. Communicate, negotiate settlements, and otherwise work with opposing counsel on matters requiring you to do so. Record all forms of communication from and to the Client by updating the Firm s internal case-management system, CaseMax. Image and label documents necessary for document preparation to the Firm s image center, PaperWise. Communicate effectively with the Attorney, Client, and docket clerk to resolve issues as they arise. Serve as backup to fellow employees. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years office experience. Paralegal degree or certification is preferred. 6+ months legal experience. Intermediate knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office Programs. Ability to navigate and problem solve utilizing various websites and software systems. Ability to type of 35+ WPM.
