Healthcare and/or no-fault auto experience helpful. Knowledge of court and agency processes and procedures required. Knowledge of Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP) and Michigan Court Rules (MCR) and familiarity with various court websites, docket searching and document retrieval databases including PACER, etc required. Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Visio, Excel) and PDF creation required. Experience with Epic software helpful. Responsible for providing monthly status reports for clients. Communicate with opposing parties, Judge s Assistants and clients. Liaise between internal/external third parties. Any other responsibilities assigned by the Attorney and/or Manager, as applicable. 3 + years experience with Foreclosure Litigation. Paralegal Certification preferred. Ability to work under pressure and ability to make decisions according to established guidelines; work unsupervised and to accomplish tasks accurately and on a timely basis; prioritize work; strong organization skills. Must be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Ability to identify the needs of customers through effective questions and listening techniques. Handles customers and associates and their queries in a positive, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable manner, remembering that the customers satisfaction is a primary focus.
