Commercial Bankruptcy/Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for the management and organization of cases from inception to trial including client intake, drafting discovery, answering discovery, heavy calendaring, creating trial notebooks, and assisting with mediation and trial preparation. Will be supporting three attorneys and will be occasionally asked to assist other staff members with projects within the Firm. The candidate must have 5 years paralegal experience in a Commercial Litigation practice (NOT Personal Injury). Ability to organize,manage and prioritize multiple tasks with limited supervision is necessary. Knowledge of State and Federal Court deadlines/procedures is required. Experience using PACER, and E-filing systems is critical. Advanced oral and written communication skills are needed. College degree and/or a paralegal certificate is mandatory. Must be proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, and Excel with exposure to LexisNexis is preferred.
