Senior Paralegal - Commercial Litigation & Corporate Transactions The candidate will investigate cases and conducting legal research. Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, including motions, affidavits, orders, subpoenas, and pleadings. Prepare and electronically file legal documents with its respective courts. Prepare for depositions, including managing exhibits and exhibit logs and managing deposition transcripts and exhibits. Contact court clerks regarding specific cases and filings. Create various corporate entities in New York, New Jersey and Delaware. Manage firm database, client documents, and document production. Bachelors Degree and 3 6 years of paralegal experience, preferably in corporate law required. Excellent research, organizational and multi-tasking skills required. Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. Familiarity with Pacer, online court filing systems, Westlaw (or its equivalent), and the New York and New Jersey legal systems required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Exceptional proofreading and communication skills, both written and oral required.
