Commercial Bankruptcy/Litigation Paralegal Duties: Will be responsible for the management and organization of cases from inception to trial including client intake, drafting discovery, answering discovery, heavy calendaring, creating trial notebooks, and assisting with mediation and trial preparation. Will be supporting three attorneys and will be occasionally asked to assist other staff members with projects within the Firm. Requirements: College degree and/or a paralegal certificate. 5+ years paralegal experience in a Commercial Litigation practice. Ability to organize, manage and prioritize multiple tasks with limited supervision. Knowledge of State and Federal Court deadlines/procedures. Experience using PACER, SOS, E-filing systems, Case File Express and Best Case. Advanced oral and written communication skills. Must be self-motivated, highly organized, dependable, detail oriented and work well with others. Must be proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, and Excel with exposure to LexisNexis preferred.
