Employment-based Immigration Paralegal The candidate will prepare and file non-immigrant petitions including H-1B, L-1, TN, E-2, E-3, O-1. Will prepare and file immigrant petitions including EB1, EB2 and EB3 PERM labor certifications, I-140 and Adjustment of Status applications. Perform intake of cases, troubleshooting, and establishing case strategy. Draft petitions, applications and specialized support letters detailing eligibility for visa classification and immigration benefits. Contribute to the development of firm processes to simplify work, standardize procedures and help team operate efficiently and effectively. Perform independent and reliable research for attorneys using all available immigration research tools. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university (writing intensive majors preferred). Should preferably have 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume business immigration practice. Must be well-organized with good communication and writing skills, excellent critical thinking abilities and strong attention to detail. Should be proficient at MS Word, Adobe Acrobat and any case management software. Proficiency in a foreign language is preferred.
