Prepares reports and correspondence. Drafts affidavits or other pleadings i.e. stipulations, notices, subpoenas, etc. and maintains document file. Assist in the preparation of mediations, trials, and depositions. Communicates with witnesses and experts as well as legal services vendors. Enters billing and expense data into Firm system in a timely manner. Travels to court or client site as needed. Proofread all documents and cite check/bluebook briefs. Conduct document review and prepare/manage document productions. Requirements: Paralegal certification / degree from accredited college or university. 5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably working in a labor/employment defense litigation practice. Experience with electronic filing is a must. Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Lexis-Nexis and WestLaw, Live Note, Concordance, Case Map, Docketing, Document Management System, expense and billing systems. Able to operate multi-line phone, calculator, cell phone, copier, fax, scanner. Must have superior analytical skills with the ability to mine and collect data for cases.
