Real Estate/Corporate Paralegal The candidate must have experience in the areas of commercial real estate transactions, commercial lending and finance and general corporate. Strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills and great attention to detail. Experience in transactional real estate and general corporate is required. Experience with entity formations, registrations, conversions, mergers, dissolutions and withdrawals. Experience deeding, title and survey review, UCC searches & local transfer requirements. Ability to draft closing documents including, but not limited to, basic agreements and third party consents; compiles information and prepares schedules and exhibits to agreements. Property tax reassessment and exclusion, rules, including local practices. Coordinating escrow closings with all parties in the transaction, including the buyers, sellers, title insurance companies, opposing counsel, and lenders. Ability to handle post-closing matters including, but not limited to, mailings, closing binders and transfer agreements. Ability to work in a fast- paced, deadline driven environment. Must possess a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills so as to work well with both coworkers and clients on all levels and maintain all information in the strictest of confidence. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing. Must be detail oriented and be extremely organized; ability to manage multiple projects and to follow through without prompting. Ability to process routine daily functions while being able to resolve sensitive issues and complex assignments. A Bachelors Degree is preferred, or equivalent years of service. An ABA-approved paralegal certificate is preferred. 3-5 years of real estate paralegal experience within a law firm with demonstrated knowledge of complex issues within real estate practice area is needed.
