Bankruptcy and Litigation Paralegal The candidate under attorney supervision, this candidate will be responsible for managing a heavy case load which includes drafting and reviewing documents and pleadings, tracking and monitoring electronic (ECF) and paper files, maintaining calendars and deadlines, providing status updates, and legal research. The ideal candidate will have bankruptcy and litigation experience, preferably with an emphasis on trustee representation, a high level of attention to detail, excellent computer skills, and strong work ethic. This professional will be relied upon to assist attorneys in preparing cases for trial, including investigating debtors business and financial records, analyzing creditor claims, and preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery. Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced, small firm and be willing to branch out from their own case load to assist other paralegals and attorneys when the need arises.
