Employment Litigation Paralegal & Legal Assistant The candidate will professional demeanor with all of the Firm's clients, attorneys, staff, and vendors. Including responding to messages and requests in a timely manner; Filing state and US Federal Court Case Management/Electronic Case File (CM/ECF)/PACER system, including submission of electronic filings; Draft and review legal correspondence including thoroughly proofreading for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting; Assist with preparation/revision of correspondence, pleadings, discovery submissions, arbitration/mediation documents in state and federal matters; Trial preparation experience; Handle a wide variety of complex and confidential, time-sensitive material; Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints with minimal supervision; Proficient in software programs such as GSuite, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Excel, or other similar software programs necessary to perform essential duties of the position. 3-5 years of law firm experience, preferably in employment law; Superior legal research and writing skills; Knowledge of service deadlines for various litigation tasks, including familiarity of the California Code of Civil Procedure; Strong attention to detail, analytical abilities, and resourcefulness; Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of state and federal courts and agencies within labor and employment law practices; Bachelor's Degree (strongly preferred); Ability to work well under pressure; Ability to communicate effectively and handle multiple priorities in a timely and professional manner; Approachable and enthusiastic; Clear and concise communicator; verbal & written; Bilingual (strongly preferred, but not required)
