Corporate Staff Attorney, Finance The candidate will be drafting, reviewing and revising various finance documents (including credit agreements, exhibits, resolutions, indentures, leases, closing certificates, and ancillary documents). Identifying and relaying issues to senior attorneys for resolution. Creating and performing due diligence review of documents and lien searches. Preparing and filing various regulatory and UCC forms. Efficiently managing aircraft and funds finance closings. Communicating and interacting with clients, local counsel, trustee counsel, FAA counsel, vendors, partners, associates, and firm staff at all levels. Developing practice area expertise, contribute to and help maintain knowledge management resources, assist with business development efforts and participate in professional development training sessions. The candidate should have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing of the New York State Bar. Must have 1-20 years of relevant experience. Prior related experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills is needed. Interpersonal skills enabling successful and professional communication are required. Should be energetic and enthusiastic about expanding knowledge of the finance industry. Must be a team-oriented mindset as well as the ability to take ownership of and complete tasks without direct supervision. Demonstrate an entrepreneurial approach, possess a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work in an independent manner among a group of high-performing professionals are needed. Must have the ability to be available to work the hours necessary in order to provide outstanding client service.
