Paralegal: Litigation -- Medical Malpractice The candidate should have 3 years of recent litigation experience (insurance defense and/or medical malpractice experience a plus!). Must have knowledge of Word, WordPerfect, Outlook and Adobe. Should have good phone and speaking etiquette, writing, multitasking, organizational, communication and computer skills. Should have knowledge of California codes, court rules, discovery rules, medical research, court research, subpoena preparation, filing deadlines and procedures. Knowledge of trial and arbitration preparation is required.
