Associate Attorney, Employment Litigation Duties: Initial pre-filing case work-up under the direction of the supervising attorney. Client meetings. Drafting complaints. Propounding and responding to discovery. Taking and defending depositions. Conducting case related investigation. Law and motion work. Trial preparation work. Qualifications: an excellent academic background with a high law school class ranking. 1-3 years of employment litigation is preferred. must have a demonstrated interest in civil rights law and litigation, and a drive to fight for the underrepresented. Some litigation experience. Excellent professionalism and communication skills. Excellent research and writing skills. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, an ability to work with and report to others as a team, and above all must be detail oriented with a commitment to excellence.
