Paralegal (Employment-Based Immigration) The candidate will draft forms for employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B visas, PERM cases, and I-140 petitions. Support attorneys through the organization of documents, the monitoring of deadlines, and the management of checklists. Draft complex, lengthy written documents in support of immigrant and nonimmigrant employment-based matters (such as support letters for H-1Bs, O-1s, and National Interest Waivers). Maintain up-to-date and accurate case information in the firm's case management system (BlueDot). Provide exceptional customer service when assisting firm clients (both employers and employees). Provide ongoing updates to attorneys and clients regarding the status of cases. Research, analyze, and apply regulations and procedures (from USCIS, the DOS, and the DOL) for employment-based immigration matters. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls and assist with setting appointments. Excellent analytical skills. Proficiency in a second language is preferred. Dedicated interest in working in the field of immigration and in reaching client goals.
