Experienced IP Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be creating, organizing, reviewing, and maintaining patent litigation case files including discovery. Maintaining and monitoring litigation docket and due dates; managing litigation calendars. Preparing memoranda, motions, and briefs including proofreading, cite-checking, assembly of exhibits, filing, and service at the district and appellate courts and the ITC. Performing factual and legal research in databases including Westlaw, Docket Navigator, PACER, EDIS, and the USPTO. Preparing materials for depositions, hearings and trials. Attending and providing support to attorneys at court and agency proceedings including the ITC. Other litigation and trial support tasks. Should have 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal. Strong academic credentials and an undergraduate degree are preferred. A paralegal certificate is preferred. Strong communication skills. Stellar cite checking skills are essential. A team-player mentality is needed. Knowledge and understanding of the litigation process and e-discovery; experience with database management software, review, and production. Should be proficient in the knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, CompuLaw, Case Notebook, Relativity, IPRO (Eclipse), and FileSite.
