Litigation Paralegal - IP and Patent Duties: Will manage and lead all supportive aspects for the practice, including federal court and USPTO filings, case files, discovery, depositions and trial preparation for litigation cases. Will be responsible for assisting attorneys with preparing legal documents, including regulatory responses, pleadings, briefs, motions, subpoenas, expert reports and discovery-related materials Cite-checking (legal and factual), blue-booking and shepardizing briefs. Managing case files and matter documents through e-Rooms. Ensuring filings and e filings are in compliance with court and agency rules, including PTO rules. Assisting attorneys with discovery, including discovery requests, drafting subpoenas, and assisting with preparation for depositions and witness interviews. Assisting with preparation for hearings and trials. Assisting with document review, searches, and productions through various platforms, e.g., Relativity, Concordance, etc. Collecting and preparing trademark/copyright use evidence. Calculating and managing federal court and U.S.P.T.O. Deadlines. Performing preliminary searches of U.S.P.T.O records. Qualification Requirements: Four year degree is preferred. The candidate should have 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience. Paralegal Certification from an ABA accredited program is preferred.
