Immigration Litigation Paralegal The candidate must have at least 1 year of experience (2 years preferred), be well-organized, demonstrate an ability to multi-task and work independently, and be detail-orientated. Responsibilities include: Organizing case documents and files and updating internal database as necessary. Reviewing all documents and making initial determination regarding information that is privileged or that otherwise requires redaction. Drafting and filing pleadings in federal court via E-filing and PACER/ECF. Calculating deadlines for affirmative and responsive actions in litigation. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with court deadlines. Working and communicating with clients and the litigation team. Assisting with all aspects of trial preparation and presentation, if necessary. Other duties as assigned. Paralegal certificate or equivalent education and/or work experience preferred. 1 year experience as a litigation paralegal (two years preferred). Working knowledge of federal civil litigation rules and practice.
