Review of client's draft answers to interrogatories and discussion with attorney concerning same; preparation of any necessary revisions of answers. Extensive preparation and organization of documents for production, in certain cases by e-discovery. Prepare. Obtain deposition dates. Preparation of initial draft notices of depositions with subpoena preparation. Scheduling of reporter and conference room. Scheduling of witness interview, informing witness of trial dates; in certain cases, the paralegal may be asked to conduct an initial interview. Research Defense Experts. Retain Plainitff's experts. Schedule appointment with expert witness (es). Prepare draft letter to expert, forwarding materials for his/her review. Limited legal research, Witness research, Trial. Work on organizing all files, with detailed index for easy retrieval in the future, in necessary. Ensuring file is scanned in and moved to closed files. Retain Investigator. Locate witness. Retain process server. Motion to Appoint Process Server. Find location for deposition. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree. Must have 5 years experience in Plaintiff's personal injury litigation law practice. Strong understanding of litigation terms is required. Must have technological skills, Microsoft Word skills. Must have case Management System experience. Should have superior research skills, including the use of online services, databases and the Internet. Superior organizational skills needed.
