Employment Litigation Attorney Responsibilities: Represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions. Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings and motions; propounding and responding to written discovery. Advise clients on business and legal transactions. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes. Taking and defending depositions; attending mediations; appearing in court. Perform administrative and management functions.
Qualifications: Experience in Employment/Labor Law and litigation is required. Previous experience in Employment Law. Familiarity with various legal documents; litigation process such as court systems and their attendant rules, procedures and protocols. Strong analytical and problem solving skills; effective planning; exercise sound judgment. Ability to prioritize workload and assignments. Ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
