IP Litigation Paralegal Duties: Assist with copyright, trademark, and related litigation work. E-File documents with Courts and communicate with clerks to schedule hearings; Compose legal documents for review by attorney, send stipulations for approval; Draft shells and finalize pleadings, motions, memoranda, and briefs for Court filings; Investigate facts and law as well as e-discovery for trial exhibits and production; Create and organize witness files, draft discovery requests and deposition notices. Trademarks: state/federal/foreign, filing to registration; MPC through grant(s); Conduct prefiling search clearance, prepare and e-file trademark applications; Analyze and write opinions for attorney review, handle responses and maintenance. Copyrights: domestic/foreign, filing to registration; E-file applications, record assignments, and organize same with foreign associates. Qualifications: High school or equivalent. 3-5 years litigation experience preferred. Experience in intellectual property law preferred. Able to work independently. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Able to learn and manage complex databases. Detail oriented with exceptional organization skills.
