Scheduling depositions, hearings, trials, and meetings. Preparing arbitration materials and trial materials. Preparation of final accounting documents at the conclusion of the case. Communicating with medical providers, opposing counsel, and insurance companies. Training new hires and mentoring them throughout the onboarding process. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate's degree is a plus. Must be able to type 50 WPM. Organizational skills and communication skills are necessary. Must have worked with legal software, case management, and docketing programs. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times. Perform research and analysis relating to securities, blue sky and corporate laws. Order due diligence searches and summarize results; complete UCC and other lien and lien termination filings as necessary. Prepare incorporation/formation documents and coordinate with corporate filing agents. Prepare board resolutions and shareholder consents. Prepare and file Form D with the SEC and state securities regulatory authorities, including electronic filings made through the EFD filing system. Review subscription materials for private offering investors. Prepare and maintain capitalization schedules. May be requested to perform other duties not mentioned above. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and/or completion of a paralegal program. Experience as a paralegal in the corporate area and/or similar work experience.
