Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate focuses on assisting with cases to ensure the efficient and timely processing of the different's tages of pre-litigation. Responsibilities and Duties: Drafting letters and correspondence; FOIA Requests; Obtaining and organizing documentation required at different's tages of the case; Coordinating Investigator to obtain photos of's cene and witnesses's tatements when needed; Processing PIP/Medpay; Obtaining prior injury/medical and claims/lawsuits history; Reviewing all medical records; Maintaining regular contact with clients; Notice letter to Medicare/Medicaid and lienholders; Developing harms and losses with clients; Drafting and's ending out a demand package; Monitoring receipt and processing of a demand; Preparing closing's tatements; Checking account balances; Processing disbursement; Performs other essential functions necessary for the's uccess of the department. A Bachelor's degree, preferred. Must have at least 2-3 years of personal injury paralegal experience, Litigation experience a plus.'s hould have ability to manage multiple tasks, deliver results, and maintain quality while working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Must have ability to work effectively in collaboration with others.'s hould have demonstrated proficiency and experience with a broad range of computer's oftware including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.'s trong research's kills and excellent oral and written communication's kills are required. Foreign language's kills are a plus.
