IP Litigation Paralegal (Remote) The candidate will assist attorneys in all phases of the litigation process from filing the complaint, discovery, through trial and post-trial findings and appeal. E-filing in various courts including Districts, PTAB and Appeals courts. Prepare complaint and ancillary documents for filing with various courts. Assists with the preparation and filing of briefs, appeals and other legal documents: compiles appendices and exhibits, proofreads and cite checks for factual data, prepares table of authorities, files documents with court (hard copy and electronic). Prepares for and attends trial: organizes, prepares and tracks exhibits; assists with the preparation of attorney work product; prepares deposition designations; compiles exhibits related to direct and cross examination outlines; assists with the's et-up of trial's ite logistics and other trial related projects as assigned. Implements and manages organizational's ystems to maintain case calendar, pleadings, correspondence and related case documents utilizing Firm's oftware. Manages and maintains Litigation's upport's ystems (Relativity, TextMap, Casemap, Extranets and third party platforms). Offers's uggestions to attorneys regarding most effective technologies to manage client matters. Applies knowledge of litigation process, legal procedures, terminology, and experience to efficient completion of tasks. Prepares documents to include: privilege logs, binders, correspondence, reports to clients, document indices, abstracts,'s preadsheets, and chronology of facts. Maintains's olid working relationships with peers,'s upport's taff, attorneys, clients, etc. Various other office projects. College degree or equivalent experience required.'s hould have 3+ years of experience as a paralegal working's pecifically on intellectual property and patent litigation matters. E-filing experience is desired.
