This mid size New York office's practice is transactional in nature and focused on banking and real estate finance, development, and leasing. Attorneys represent domestic banks, investment banks, and U.S. branches of major European, Scandinavian and Japanese banking organizations. All beginning associates participate in a formal legal education program designed to acquaint them with the fundamentals of the firm's practice. Attorneys enjoy competitive salaries and benefits and are encouraged to participate in pro bono work.
Commercial Real Estate Paralegal The candidate must have 4+ years of commercial real estate experience in a busy commercial real estate practice, assisting attorneys in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including document preparation and review, closing coordination, title and survey review, and corporate entity formation. Should have familiarity with all aspects of commercial lending and finance transactions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Bachelors degree is required. Paralegal certificate is preferred. Prior real estate experience is required. Massachusetts Notary is an asset.
