Commercial Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will serve in title and survey review; which includes reviewing and abstracting title documents, covenants, restrictions and easements, leases, etc. Will serve in entity formation. Order and review UCC and litigation searches; prepare summary of relevant findings. Conduct due diligence (which includes organizing documents and summarizing relevant documents and preparing relevant abstracts). Prepare and maintain closing checklists. Assist in preparations for closing and attendance at closings, whether in escrow or in person. Prepares closing binders. Prepares summaries of loan documents and other material documents. Handle all support aspects of a commercial transaction, title/survey review, UCC research and filings, due diligence, ancillary document drafting, and closing/post-closing procedures. Maintain organized files for voluminous transactions. Requires the ability to regularly report to work on the days and times scheduled and to stay after scheduled departure hour as needed on an OT basis. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Should have a Bachelor's Degree. Should have 5+ years of experience working for an AmLaw 200 or other sophisticated law firm working with commercial real estate finance attorneys. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint essential.
