Paralegal / (Family Law, Bankruptcy, Litigation) Candidate must have: A four-year college degree or paralegal certificate required. Experience in the areas of family law, litigation or bankruptcy would be a plus though it is more important that we add a motivated, organized and intelligent members to team. Must be interested in driving family law, bankruptcy and general litigation. Must be: A self-starter with a strong work ethic committed to personal and professional development. While under the supervision of multiple attorneys, members of the firm on assigned tasks without micromanaged direction. The ability to organize attorney and court calendars, navigate paper and electronic files, and assist in developing greater efficiency within the firm. An intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite, experience with time tracking software, and general computer skill in drafting, calculating, and performing legal and internet research. A focus on customer service in addition to delivery of legal services, demonstrated by being articulate, inspiring confidence, and possessing the ability to communicate clearly and intelligently. Basic knowledge, at minimum, of the litigation process and civil procedure in state and federal courts as well as familiarity with legal concepts within the focus areas.
