Follow the ethical requirements as set forth by the Rules of Professional Conduct of the State. Manage document organization and production processes (hard copy and electronic).Collects materials from client, opposing parties, third parties, experts (hard copies, electronic data, physical evidence).Assist with the development and implementation of document review systems. Maintain chain of custody and manage logistics of production of documents (hard copy, electronic, native).Assist with bates labeling, substantive indexing of documents and other tasks related to general discovery preparation. Prepare for depositions: conducts database searches to compile documents relevant to deponent; prepare witness files chronologically and/or by subject matter; organize, prepare and tracks exhibits. Maintain deposition transcripts and errata sheets in organized fashion. Assist with the preparation and filing of briefs, appeals and other legal documents: compile appendices and exhibits, proofread and cite check for factual data, prepare table of authorities, e-file documents with court.
