Paralegal (Finance) Duties: Draft loan documents and schedules for term loans, revolving loans, asset-based loans, real estate loans, lines of credit and unsecured facilities. Prepare for, assist with and attend closings and coordination of all post-closing requirements, including funding. Obtain, organize, review and summarize due diligence materials, including corporate status certificates and certified corporate documents, patent and trademark searches, and real estate title examinations and surveys, as well as preparation of necessary documentation to correct or clear title. Determine UCC/lien search locations, order UCC/lien searches and prepare and file UCC Financing Statements and any amendments thereto. Prepare and distribute closing binders. Proofreading and marking legal documents. Operate standard office equipment such as photocopiers, fax machines and personal computers. Maintain current and accurate daily time record. Perform special projects as assigned. Qualifications: Completion of a bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate are required for consideration. 2+ years of prior paralegal experience in a corporate practice.
