Create and maintain trial exhibit and deposition designation databases; assist with preparation of pre and post-trial briefs. Create and maintain working files for attorneys and index files for long-term storage. Organizes and manages litigation cases from inception to trial and appeal including document productions, deposition preparation and trial preparation. Requirements: Bachelor degree with ABA paralegal certification or Associates/Bachelor degree in Paralegal studies, preferred. 7+ years' litigation paralegal experience. Trial experience required. Experienced in all areas of paralegal duties from inception of case to trial and appeal, including case management, general research utilizing Westlaw, case retrieval, bluebooking, cite checking and proof reading pleadings. Knowledge and understanding of legal principles and practices. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and litigation support applications such as Relativity. Ability to apply understanding and knowledge of the litigation process from pretrial to post-trial. Strong organizational and problem solving skills. Superior interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication across a diverse group of internal and external clients, attorneys and staff while maintaining high level of work quality and customer service. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion. Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work concurrently on a variety of projects with changing priorities. Must be well versed in both federal and state court procedure and filing requirements, to include e-filing in federal courts and state courts. Ability to convey information to individuals at all levels within the firm in a courteous and professional manner; strong service orientation.
