Commercial Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will be coordinating due diligence for a variety of large commercial and residential real estate transactions. Order and review title commitments, exception documents and surveys. Administration of contract critical dates and preparation and administration of closing checklists. Coordination of and assistance with closings, including review and/or preparation of conveyance documents, closing statements, transfer tax forms, and escrow release documentation. Attending to post-closing requirements, including preparation of closing indices, preparation and organization of closing binders, and monitoring of post-closing deliveries and other requirements. Preparation of correspondence and memoranda. Preparation of lease and loan document abstracts. Reviewing and summarizing UCC, judgment, tax and other lien searches. Ability to draft and review business/real estate contracts. Ability to review surveys. Preparing and filing a variety of documents, including, deeds, mortgages, memoranda of leases, UCC financing statements, etc. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and aptitude for quickly learning various other programs. Should have excellent communication skills - written and oral. Florida Registered Paralegal preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.
