Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for drafting proofreading formatting and editing memoranda letters motions pleadings and other legal documents. Assistance with written and document discovery including preparation of records subpoenas and document productions. Filing and service of motion papers and briefs. Organization of documents for hearings depositions and trial. Formatting and editing marketing materials and client presentations requiring the use of PowerPoint and other desktop publishing software. General office administrative tasks such as calendaring copying scanning typing and ordering supplies. Assisting with paper and electronic case file organization. The candidate should have Paralegal Certification program and 4 years of college or university degree. Should have experience with litigation case management and document production. Must be familiar with federal state and local rules for electronic filings and be able to format legal briefs including generating tables of authorities and tables of contents. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software and the ability to learn new software applications are needed. Strong communication and organization skills is plus.
