Processes HIPAA authorizations and follow up with providers for medical records. Reviews, summarize and analyze medical records to assist with defense of action. Other duties, as needed, to support KDV and office operations. Qualifications: College Degree preferred. Must have 4+ years experience preferred. Paralegal certificate required. Excellent communication and organization abilities. Industry recognized certification from organizations such as ABA, NALA or AACP. Experience in using legal database software. Familiarity with legal terminology and principles. The ability to analyze legal documents for accuracy. Strong technology skills. The ability to perform legal research. Strong organizational skills; must be detail oriented. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
