Legal Secretary (Litigation/Labor & Employment) Duties: Inputs, revises and finalizes correspondence, memoranda and other legal documents. Drafts routine correspondence, memoranda and other documents. Files legal documents in federal courts and state courts; prepares legal documents for service of process; prepares case shell documents for use by attorneys. Proofreads documents and checks for appropriate formatting, spelling and grammar. Verifies all attachments, exhibits and enclosures are included with transmittal letters/memos. Maintains good public relations with clients. Receives, reviews and prints electronic faxes. Delivers paper faxes as necessary. Sorts, dates and reads incoming mail.
