Admin/Paralegal - Immigration The candidate maintains the organization of files, tracks deadlines and notices, prepares regular correspondence, works closely with attorneys and paralegals to gather and organize supporting documentation, and case administration. Assists with nonimmigrant and immigrant visa filings, organizing exhibits. Assists paralegals with preparation and filing of immigration petitions. Client intake and matters opening. Writes, proofreads, sends, files and manages correspondence, memos, pleadings, contracts, forms, indices and other related documents. Calendars all relevant deadlines. Receives, reads and routes incoming mail. Keeps cases organized by establishing and organizing files; monitoring calendars; meeting deadlines; documenting actions; inputting information into file database and case management software; confirming case status with attorney. Keeps clients informed by maintaining contact; communicating case progress. Enter conflict information into the system for the purpose of running conflict checks for new clients. Assist with opening new matters and maintaining files. Paralegal or Bachelor's degree is preferred. Should have 3+ years of legal support experience required; experience in business immigration is a plus. Experience with INSZoom or other immigration case management system is required. Spanish skills are required.
