Commercial Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist attorneys in commercial litigation. Will be responsible for: drafting correspondence and pleadings; discovery support; trial preparation; note-taking and summarizing meetings and teleconferences; translation of documents and live conversations; new client screening and scheduling; timekeeping, billing and client account management; filing, copying and general administrative tasks; and supporting the receptionist's breaks and absences.
The candidate should have an Associate's degree or certificate in paralegal or legal studies. Notary Public or willingness to become a Notary Public is required. Must have 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal. Should preferably have 5+ years of experience as a commercial litigation paralegal. Understanding of legal terminology is needed. Legal research and writing skills are required. English and Spanish language fluency is essential.
