Paralegal - Trademark The candidate will support the Intellectual Property Group, and assist with all aspects of trademark applications as well as assist in clearance and prosecution of US and foreign trademarks across multiple clients. Will analyze USPTO and foreign counsel correspondence. Proactively track due dates in the docket and communicate with the USPTO, attorney, paralegals, foreign associates, docket staff, and clients regarding prosecution matters. Handle filings with the USPTO. Perform preliminary trademark searches. Draft assignment documents for recordation and meet country specific requirement (e.g., notarization and legalization of documents). Foreign/Madrid Protocol filings and maintenance. The candidate should preferably have a Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification. Must have 5+ years of experience as a trademark paralegal with 2+ years of law firm experience. Knowledge of USPTO procedures is required. Experience conducting trademark searches is needed.
