Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal The candidate will obtain, review, and analyze discovery documents, including medical records and financial records, tax, and employment records, or any other relevant information to support clients claims. Prepare attorneys for hearings and trials by preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, witness files, and identifying relevant information. Manage a docket of approximately 40 litigation cases from filing until settlement or trial. Coordinate and communicate with support services, clients, opposing law firms, and courts. Calendar, track, and meet all discovery and case management deadlines. Generate and track case status reports. Respond timely to client inquiries and requests for status. Draft responses to discovery. Prepare case management orders and non-substantive motions. Coordinate and track the exchange of documents between the firm and experts. Schedule hearings and depositions. Must have excellent organizing and writing skills, as well as the ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently meeting tasks and deadlines. Should have 3 years of litigation. Should have 5+ years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury litigation. Should have Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program. Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; strong analytical skills, as well as advanced oral and written communication skills, are necessary; strong time management and organizational skills with an ability to work in a high-volume office and team environment is essential.
