Legal Secretary - Litigation The candidate will support multiple lawyers litigating matters in New York and New Jersey jurisdictions. 5+ years of legal support experience is required. Insurance Defense field is a plus. Legal Secretary responsibilities include; drafting and formating of letters and legal documents; scheduling depositions; calendar management, e-Filing of Motions and other Pleadings; organization of discovery materials, trial preparation; expense reports; and other traditional support functions. Requirements: Knowledge of Court e-filing procedures in New York State and Federal Courts (New Jersey Courts is a Plus) Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Microsoft Office proficiency Proactive and collaborative work style Familiarity with document management systems If you are a team player and enjoy a fast paced environment.
