Paid time off H1: Pre-Litigation Legal Secretary Law Firm is looking for a Pre-Litigation Legal Secretary to undertake document management, file set up/new client onboarding, medical treatment set up and management, pre-litigation settlement demands, and handling pre-litigation medical reductions, payoffs, and settlement disbursements. H2: Job Description The Pre-Litigation Legal Secretary is responsible for providing administrative support to multiple pre-litigation lawyers. This includes onboarding new clients and preparing preliminary file work, including medical treatment set up, police report ordering, letters of rep, spoliation letters, and welcome correspondence from the firm to clients. The Pre-Litigation Legal Secretary will also be responsible for managing medical treatment with facilities, obtaining medical reductions, bills and records, and preparing and finalizing settlement disbursement summaries with clients. H2: Qualifications The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a legal secretary and knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and ability to work with legal technology (court-filing computer systems, case management and document management systems). Working knowledge of litigation management software systems is a plus. The candidate should also have proficiency in English, outstanding time-management and typing skills, and the ability to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people. H2: Salary and Benefits The salary for the Pre-Litigation Legal Secretary is $40,000 - $47,500 a year. Benefits include health insurance and paid time off. H2: Work Schedule The work schedule for the Pre-Litigation Legal Secretary is an 8 hour shift. H2: Education and Experience The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 3 years of Microsoft Office experience.
