Litigation/Discovery Paralegal - Law Firm Law Firm is looking for an experienced Litigation/Discovery Paralegal to join their busy personal injury and employment practice. The right candidate will be an important part of the team and have the opportunity to work in a friendly, supportive environment. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities: * Calendar and manage court and trial deadlines * Propound and respond to discovery * Prepare documents for serving and filing with the court * Draft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients, experts, and defense counsel in an effective and courteous manner * Assist attorneys with new client intakes and opening files * Case management tasks including ordering medical records and tracking costs * Assist with trial preparation including trial documents and exhibits * Answering phones as needed Qualifications: * 2+ years of relevant civil litigation (preferably personal injury) experience * Knowledge and mastery of California Civil Procedure and Local Court Rules * Experience filing in state and federal court * Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel * Strong written and oral communication skills * Able to act independently and multi-task * Must be organized and detail-oriented * Spanish preferred Law Firm is seeking an experienced Litigation/Discovery Paralegal to join their team.
