Litigation Legal Secretary The candidate should have 3-5 years of litigation support experience, providing support at all stages of a case from preparation, for appearances, to mediation, trial, and more. Willing to communicate directly with courts regarding case status, upcoming appearances, and other inquiries. Able to manage calendar dates and e-court notifications, and experience filing documents electronically in state and federal courts. Able to assist with compiling exhibits in support of motions, discovery, correspondence, and requesting service on all parties. Detail-focused and able to proofread with a high degree of accuracy, and accurately perform redactions of exhibits and documents as instructed. Technological proficiency in software including Microsoft Office, Tables of Contents and Tables of Authority in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. Familiar with, or has the ability to become proficient in, technology and processes required for timekeeping, billing, and document management systems. Proficient in uploading documents into client applications.
