This large international New York law firm founded in 1934 has established a full-service presence. Clients include large corporations and individuals as well as small and medium-sized businesses. The firm represents a wide range of industrial, financial and commercial enterprises, both publicly and privately held. Firm lawyers represent clients in every state as well as numerous foreign jurisdictions. The firm is organized by legal specialization: corporate, e-commerce, employee benefits, estate planning, government and regulatory affairs, health law, intellectual property, international, litigation and tax. This firm offers competitive salaries and many firm lawyers also practice interdepartmentally distinguishing them from many other large law firms.
Paralegal, Corporate Advisory Duties: Organize closing documents and signature pages and notarize/coordinate with notaries. Assist with review of resolutions, amendments, restatements and related corporate documents in conjunction with borrowing entities. Create closing binders and CD s containing closing documents. Arrange for custodial delivery of closing documents. Provide general support to attorneys and staff across offices and Practice Groups, as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's degree. Certified New York Notary (preferred). Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle and maintain confidential information. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible to work overtime.
