Litigation Paralegal Duties: Support Litigation Department. Help prepare arguments and draft legal documents (pleadings, motions, stipulations, discovery requests and responses, complaints, demand letters, etc.). Communicate with clients and opposing parties (new case intake, documents collection, medical treatment and other records). Identify, locate and interview relevant witnesses and experts. Investigate case by requesting and reviewing relevant documents, and perform fact checking. Research court rules and locate cases, opinions, reports and other information related to a matter. Summarize legal documents, medical records, employment records, etc. Organize and maintain document files and case materials. Assist attorney with trial, hearing, arbitration and mediation preparation. Assist attorney during case settlement and closure.
Qualifications: Paralegal experience strongly desired; Bachelor's degree strongly desired.
