Seeking Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with 5+ years experience within the field of commercial real estate. The candidate will be working closely with attorney and legal staff on numerous open/current files for clients. Should have: Prior title searching experience. Ability to read surveys, plats and maps. Experience in reviewing title commitments and title exceptions. Experience with satisfaction and resolution of title requirements and title issues. Experience in preparation of closing statements (Soft Pro/ProForm). Excels at implementing systems and procedures. Communication - Ability to keep team up to date and informed on transaction. Attention to detail and ability to maintain closing checklists, track and calendar deadlines, and keep transactions progressing in a timely manner. Understanding of the importance of detailed work within a larger context. Ability to prioritize deadlines and flexibility to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands. Ability to work independently with consistent quality results. Team player in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. Punctual and regular attendance. Work well with all personalities. Proactive self-starter. Ability to operate office equipment such as: copier / fax / scanner / postage machine. Proficient with the following computer applications: Word, Excel & Outlook; SoftPro knowledge a plus.
