Legal Secretary Litigation The candidate must have: 5+ years' experience as a litigation secretary. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and various legal software applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be extremely detail oriented and organized and have great follow-through skills. Must be able to coordinate complex scheduling for multiple individuals. Must be able to work under pressure while managing multiple deadlines/priorities. Accuracy, speed and professionalism are a must. Has the ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Must be skilled at typing correspondence and pleadings for attorneys. Strong interpersonal skills. A bright professional with strong proofreading skills, familiarity with both state and federal court filings, and E-filing experience, and is detail oriented with great spelling and grammar skills. A positive attitude and flexibility are key.
