Corporate Staff Attorney, M&A Responsibilities: Taking a thoughtful and analytical approach with a high attention to detail to:. Drafting, reviewing and revising various transactional documents (including NDAs). Assisting on due diligence projects for M&A and private equity transactions. Identifying and relaying issues to senior attorneys for resolution. Engaging in a collaborative and enthusiastic manner to:. Communicate and interact with clients, partners, counsel, associates and staff. Develop practice area expertise, assist with knowledge management and business development efforts and participate in training sessions.
Requirements: JD Degree from an accredited law school and a member in good standing of the New York State Bar. 2 years work experience in a corporate law environment. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Energetic and enthusiastic about expanding knowledge of transactional work. Team-oriented mindset as well as the ability to take ownership of and complete tasks without direct supervision. Interpersonal skills enabling successful and professional communication. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines. Available to work overtime on nights and weekends.
