Litigation Paralegal The candidate assists attorneys in accomplishing clients goals by using organizational, analytical and communication skills. The position involves working cooperatively with attorneys and staff in a busy law office environment. The position requires a self-motivated individual with the ability to conduct investigational research, track billable and non-billable time, manage documents, draft documents, and the ability to calendar and monitor deadlines for various state and federal jurisdictions. Work includes: Prepare and maintain numerous charts and timelines to assist case administration; Track and manage document production and organize client materials; Calendar and monitor case deadlines in a variety of jurisdictions; Draft pleadings and discovery; Assist with research and investigation; Support attorneys in significant litigation and/or other trial-related matters; Understand and execute litigation objectives; Perform other related duties as needed and assigned. Must have at least seven (7) years of paralegal experience including major commercial litigation experience. Must possess strong knowledge of state and federal court rules, litigation procedures and discovery processes including electronic discovery. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer proficiency is a must.
